Frequently asked questions

Last updated: 2026

Is MPTune free?

Yes. The free tier lets you generate seamless loops without creating an account. There is a daily limit per IP address so costs stay manageable. Ads help fund the service.

Can I use the music in my commercial game?

You may use tracks you generate in your own games and projects, commercial or not, subject to the underlying AI model provider's terms (Meta MusicGen via Replicate). We do not claim ownership of your generations. You remain responsible for how you use the output. See our Terms of Use.

Why does my prompt work better in English?

The music model was trained mainly on English text. Turkish (or other language) UI is fine for browsing; for best audio results, describe the music in English.

How do I use the file in Unity, Unreal, or Godot?

Download the ZIP, import loop.ogg, and enable looping on the audio component / sound asset. The loop is already crossfaded, so you should not need a custom seam fix for basic looping playback. More detail is in How it works.

Why did I get fewer generations today?

Free users start with a small daily quota. If your browser is not blocking ads, we may raise that daily limit for the rest of the day. The counter resets at UTC midnight. Pro (when launched) removes the daily cap.

What about stems / separate channels?

Stem separation (drums, bass, etc.) is planned as a paid Pro feature. The free launch focuses on a single seamless full-mix loop, which is cheaper and faster to produce.

How do you handle privacy and ads?

We do not require an account for the free tier. We use IP-based quota counts, optional language and Pro cookies, and third parties such as Replicate, Vercel/Upstash, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
